A unique vegetable fertilizer great for your veggie garden!

Dr. Q's Vegetable & Tomato Food (6-10-6) is a unique fertilizer specially designed to encourage the heaviest possible production from all kinds of vegetables. From cucumbers to melons to peppers and tomatoes, this fertilizer gets the job done! Its triple action nitrogen formula combines with extra phosphorus to produce that bumper crop we're all looking for. The essential micronutrients calcium, iron, manganese and zinc are combined in a unique sucrate formula that encourages vegetable plants to absorb them more quickly. Sulfur is added as a pH corrector for alkaline desert soils. Dr. Q's Vegetable & Tomato Food consists entirely of homogeneous, controlled-release granules. This simply means that every fertilizer pellet contains all the nutrients, rather than a mix of different kinds of nutrient pellets in the same bag. In other words, it's all in there!

What the primary nutrients do: Plants need nitrogen to produce and maintain healthy leaves. Phosphorus promotes strong root growth, flower and vegetable production. Potash (potassium) is needed for strong plant structure and resistance to summer and winter stress. In Dr. Q's Vegetable & Tomato Food, these nutrients are combined at just the right ratio for all kinds of vegetable plants.
Dr. Q's Vegetable & Tomato Food also contains a combination of unique soil conditioners. It's the smart, safe way to feed your plants and bring your soil to life at the same time. Specific instructions on when to apply, how to apply and how much to use are found on the back of each bag.

How To Use Tips
When selecting vegetable starts for your garden, pick short, compact, well- developed plants. Absolutely avoid seedlings with fewer than two complete sets of leaves. If planting seeds directly in the garden, don't plant them too early. If the soil is too cool, seeds won't germinate properly if at all.
Tomato blooms have both male and female pollen. If you're having trouble getting much fruit, have no bees, and your plants are in an area protected from the wind, try shaking or tapping the bush. If your plants are dropping too many blooms, try the synthetic hormone, Tomato Bloom Spray II to increase fruit set. Good luck and happy eating!
