Use Dr. Q’s starter fertilizers and keep your plants strong for years to come!

• Dr. Q's Gold Dust was created as a one-step, starter fertilizer for new plantings of trees, shrubs, vegetables and flowers. Its rich composition helps all kinds of new plants gain a solid foothold in landscapes despite extreme heat, cold, wind and poor soils. It is nutrient-balanced at 5-10-5 (Nitrogen - Phosphorus - Potash) and consists of homogeneous, controlled-release granules. This simply means that every fertilizer pellet contains all the nutrients, rather than a mix of different kinds of nutrient pellets in the same bag. Essential micronutrients calcium, iron, manganese and zinc are included. In other words, it's all in there! No other supplemental fertilizer products are needed.
•What the primary nutrients do: Plants need nitrogen to produce and maintain healthy leaves. Phosphorus promotes strong root growth and flower production. Potash (Potassium) is needed for strong plant structure and resistance to summer and winter stress. These nutrients are combined at just the right ratio for all new plantings. Gold Dust also contains a combination of unique soil conditioners. While no fertilizer can make up for good plant selection, proper care and watering, Dr. Q's Gold Dust has the perfect formula to bring soils to life so your plants grow more beautiful each year! We recommend use of this product in soils with a pH of 5.5 or higher.
