Use Dr. Q's Soil Sulfur to help high pH soils

Product Description
Dr. Q's Soil Sulfur is used to correct alkaline soils, those with high pH, commonly found in southwestern deserts. Failure to correct these soils when planting may result in stunted, yellowed leaves with burned leaf margins. The plant will decline and may die prematurely. Specific instructions on when to apply, how to apply and how much to use are found on the back of each bag. We don't recommend use of soil sulfur on plants growing in containers. Do not exceed recommended applications, especially during the warmer months, or burning may result.

How To Use Tips
Soils with lots of organic matter like decomposed leaves and other natural compost rarely, if ever, need soil sulfur added. If you want to check the pH of your soil, try one of our soil test kits or the moisture meter. Watering deeply and infrequently also helps to leach excess salts (alkali) from the root zone of plants.
