How To Use Tips
A few basic rules to remember: When applying insecticides and herbicides always read complete label instructions and follow directions exactly! Wear waterproof gloves when spraying chemicals. Wear eye protection if spraying overhead. Don't spray on windy days - drift could contaminate other areas or cause injury to desirable plants. Its a good idea to use separate sprayers for insecticides and herbicides to avoid mixing, contamination and possible injury to plant material. Don't store diluted chemicals or fertilizer in the sprayer or leave them under pressure for an extended period. Clean sprayer, including nozzle assembly, with warm water when you have finished your task. Replacement nozzle is listed with corresponding sprayer.
Gardeners Tip: Don't use the same sprayer for weed killers and bug killers. Any herbicide residue can kill the plants youre trying to save from the bugs! Use separate sprayers and label each clearly so you won't get them mixed up.
