Star Nursery believes in giving back to the communities in which it operates. This includes our involvement in community events like Park Pride Day, Arbor Day, Earth Day, Day with the Experts, Southern Utah Cotton Festival and other activities. In response to community needs, we will donate $20,000 in trees to both the City of Las Vegas and Clark County for each of the next five years. Star Nursery sponsors UNLV Athletics, special events like:

The National Finals Rodeo at the Thomas & Mack Center and various local youth sports teams. 

Star Nursery is pleased to grow with its communities through major sponsorship of Southern Nevada Guide to Tree Selection and Care and the Southern Utah Guide to Trees.

We supplement the Silver State Disposal recycling efforts with our "Plants for Plastic Program". This program gives purchase credits for the return of empty 1, 5 and 15-gallon black plastic plant containers. We return them to the commercial plant growers and keep them out of the landfill, which has saved more than 800,000 cubic feet of space!

Star Nursery is a proud supporter of the Las Vegas Springs Preserve Project. Organization is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of historical and ecological features of the site known as "The Birthplace of Las Vegas". This project will make it possible to leave a living legacy of the past for the generations of the future.
