Old favorite with excellent tomato flavor and it is great for canning. The 5-6 inch diameter Ace tomato weighs about 7-8 ounces and is low in acid. Give afternoon shade, rich well drained soil, regular water. Protect young Plants from frost with Hot Caps. Use Blossom Set Spray to help hold flowers on and increase yield. Support Vines with stakes or tomato cages.
